Job summary

Bond Health is seeking an Assistant Program Director in Brooklyn to lead a single adult shelter. You will supervise staff, ensure contractual targets are met, and manage facilities and operations to deliver high-quality services. Strong communication with funders and compliance with regulations are essential.

The role requires oversight of budgets, reports, and program data, with collaboration across departments and external partners to continuously improve outcomes for residents.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and six (6) years applicable experience.
• Bachelor's degree and four (4) years applicable experience.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Computer literacy in MS Office and other basic office technology

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality.
• Clearly communicate policies, requirements, guidelines, and program targets to staff.
• Ensure contractual goals, targets, and performance outcomes are met monthly.
• Plan and develop facility operations to deliver services effectively.
• Develop procedures for measuring facility and shelter operations.
• Ensure shelters meet regulatory compliance (health, safety, etc.).
• Supervise direct reporting staff and improve performance.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, and procurement of bulk supplies and equipment.
• Track expenses related to client maintenance systems.
• Coordinate with facilities director for warehouse management and safety.
• Implement and manage a work order system for tracking needs and costs.
• Recommend policy improvements to management staff.
• Represent the company at funder and community meetings.
• Ensure timely reporting and data collection for management and funders.
• Collaborate on Enginuity and inventory databases for metrics.
