Job summary

Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services is seeking an Operations Assistant to support the Southern Region division. The role includes clerical duties, data collection, reporting, and coordinating volunteers for Bertha’s Place shelters.

Under the Operations Manager, you will input data, maintain reporting databases, recruit and train volunteers, and schedule them to support program operations and events across the shelters.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Strong computer skills with Word and Excel on Windows.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
• Must pass background checks.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Operations Assistant for the Southern Region division.
• Collect and input statistical data for reports for funders and departments.
• Assist with annual events and ordering supplies.
• Provide data for program services to Clark County and VHA as needed.
• Coordinate and schedule volunteers, conduct orientations and background checks.
• Maintain volunteer records and hours.
