The Lord’s Place seeks an Emergency Shelter Supervisor to oversee services at the satellite shelter location, coordinating referrals, intake, and case management for residents aiming toward permanent housing.

You will supervise staff, ensure program adherence, and work with community partners to enhance services, housing outcomes, and safety. Strong communication and budget oversight are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent experience required.
• Shelter or supportive housing administration experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer skills with basic Office suite.
• Ability to learn new documentation systems.
• Completion of agency case management training within the first 90 days of employment.
• Pass a Level Two DCF Background screening.

Responsabilités

• Provide programmatic and operational oversight of shelter services.
• Coordinate intake and referrals; communicate with satellite staff.
• Oversee all client intake processes and placement.
• Direct case management sessions and coordinate ancillary services.
• Lead onboarding and supervision for case management staff.
• Collaborate with Recovery Peer Specialists and staff with lived experience.
• Develop housing and recovery–centered programming.
• Maintain client records in agency databases and ensure chart accuracy.
• Ensure safety and health compliance; conduct facility inspections.
• Monitor budget and purchases in coordination with the Director of Homeless Outreach.
• Be on-call for emergencies and night inspections as needed.
