Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul Society of San Francisco is seeking a Temporary Program Aid Liaison to help operate the MSC shelter in San Francisco. The role involves monitoring the facility, assisting guests, and ensuring safety under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong English communication, both verbal and written.
• Experience with men and women who are homeless and in crisis.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and data entry.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word software.

Responsibilities

• Provide resource and referral information for guests.
• Monitor and control shelter activities, ensuring safety.
• Carry PPE and follow shelter regulations.
• Maintain electronic guest records in ONE System, Zoho, and Envoy.
• Screen new guests and assist with services linkage.
• Attend staff trainings and monthly meetings.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Good English communication skills

Experience with homeless populations

Ability to maintain accurate records

Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Word
