Job summary

Catholic Charities Eastern Washington seeks a diligent Shelter Operations Associate to help manage Catalyst housing services for formerly homeless individuals. You will support residents, oversee daily operations, and coordinate with case management to connect residents with available services.

Role requires strong administrative skills, attention to safety, and the ability to document activities and maintain required records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated leadership, management and administrative skills.
• Ability to compassionately interact with mentally ill, substance abusers and homeless people.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the rules are observed and that it is a safe environment for residents, staff and volunteers.
• Oversees front desk operations, mail, gear checks, donations and telephones.
• Assist case management staff in coordinating services and making referrals for residents.
• Maintain Catalyst internal database and perform data entry.
• Respond to resident complaints and document significant events in logs.
• Perform shelter duties such as cleaning, mopping and laundry as needed.
