Elevate Community Services seeks a Shelter Monitor to provide direct supervision of clients, ensuring safety, modeling appropriate behavior, and ensuring compliance with program rules. The Monitor will handle daily routine care and supervision. Essential job functions include:

• Distributing client meals and supplies
• Preparing coffee for clients
• Engaging with clients to create a welcoming environment
• Monitoring grounds hourly for safety concerns
• Conducting bag checks in accordance with ECS policy
• Using crisis intervention techniques for de-escalation, prioritizing safety
• Coordinating with security services as needed
• Completing support documentation and shift reports
• Embracing the mission, vision, and principles of Elevate Community Services
• Performing other relevant duties as assigned

Schedule

Weekend, evening/night shifts, holidays, and overtime may be required.
