Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1 year experience with homeless or at-risk population.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Ability to pass bag checks and maintain safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure facility 24 hours a day.
• Ensure safety of residents and staff in emergencies.
• Ensure residents’ compliance with program policies and rules.
• Engage with clients to create a welcoming environment.
• Pass out meals and supplies to clients.
• Prepare coffee for clients.
• Monitor grounds hourly for safety.
• Conduct bag checks on entry per policy.
• Search for contraband as needed.
• Use crisis intervention to de-escalate situations while prioritizing safety.
• Coordinate with Security Contractor as needed.
• Complete daily shift reports and documentation.
• embody Elevate Community Services mission and goals.
• Maintain resident sign-in/out logs and other records.
• Answer calls and route inquiries to proper staff.
