Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Shelter Housing Services Manager to lead housing-focused services for guests at MSC and CWF. You will supervise Housing Specialists, ensure timely case management, and drive progress toward permanent housing with a guest-centered approach.

Responsibilities include program development, data reporting, and coordination with leadership to optimize workflows. A trauma-informed, compliant, and accountable service culture is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, public administration, psychology, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in homeless services, shelter operations, housing programs, case management, or related leadership.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Experience with HMIS/ClientTrack or similar database preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention.
• Knowledge of documentation compliance, audits, and program accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight of shelter operations.
• Ensure consistent implementation of agency policies, workflows, service standards, and shelter expectations.
• Supervise assigned housing specialists.
• Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring, and make advancement recommendations.
• Monitor staff productivity, performance, and accountability; address deficiencies through coaching or corrective action.
• Conduct regular case staffing, coaching, and supervision meetings.
• Address operational barriers and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with leadership on program development and service enhancements.
• Generate, review, and analyze HMIS reports for compliance and performance.
• Maintain regular communication with Operations leadership on coordination needs.
• Monitor contract deliverables and program benchmarks.
• Review incident reports and coordinate follow-up actions.
• Ensure mandatory reporting requirements are completed timely.
