Catholic Charities Twin Cities is seeking a Diversion Navigator to support families in the homeless response system in Minneapolis. The role focuses on screening, crisis stabilization, and diversion planning to prevent shelter entry and connect clients with housing options and financial assistance.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience with coordinated assessments and/or shelter diversion services.
• Knowledge of housing programs and city regulations including landlord/tenant law.
• Experience with intake and assessment processes.
• Experience with landlord/tenant mediation and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of community resources for low-income families and program eligibility.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills; second language helpful.
• Proficient with HMIS and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Provide shelter diversion services to families seeking emergency shelter, including screening and crisis referral.
• Develop and implement diversion plans with landlord/tenant negotiations and community service connections.
• Collaborate with shelter staff, partners, and programs to coordinate support.
• Maintain relationships with partners to ensure correct level and type of service for families.
• Track data and prepare reports; stay informed on subsidies and resources.
