Wings of Hope Family Crisis Services in Stillwater, OK seeks an advocate to provide crisis intervention and advocacy for residents of the shelter. Flexible hours with shifts that include day and overnight coverage; a minimum of three shifts per month is required from coverage staff.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or related education and at least one year of experience with similar client populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one year experience with similar client population preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide crisis intervention services and advocacy to adult and juvenile residents of the shelter.
• Provide crisis intervention services over the phone via the crisis line.
• Provide initial assessment and face-to-face crisis intervention services for those seeking admission into the shelter.
• Maintain accurate client records according to operating procedures including admissions, contacts, and discharges as well as case notes.
• Serve as on-call back-up for shelter staff on weeknights, weekends, or holidays as requested.
• Complete shelter chores as assigned.
• Uphold and enforce shelter rules and policies.
