The position requires strong math, cash handling, and legible penmanship to balance cash flows and maintain accurate records. Primary duties include coordinating with managers for shellfish purchases, ensuring purchases are properly recorded, and managing cash with precision.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or GED required.
• 1 year bookkeeping/accounting with cash handling and 1 year Administrative Assistant experience.
• Valid Washington state Driver's License.
• Experience with inventory management software and basic spreadsheet skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with managers for shellfish purchasing and related operations.
• Balance cash and ensure amounts recorded match balance sheet and fish tickets.
• Manage cash for purchasing shellfish and balance cash before and after openings.
• Coordinate cash needs with managers for upcoming purchases.
• Ensure product is handled properly during purchasing and delivery, even in extreme weather.
• Ensure equipment used in purchasing is stored and functioning.
