Job summary

Coastalvillages is seeking a Purchasing Agent based in Seattle, WA to oversee procurement and shipment of parts for operational needs. The role involves daily management of warehousing functions, issue and track purchase orders, and logistics coordination with various departments.

Ideal candidates have experience in purchasing, strong communication skills, and knowledge of commercial fishing supply chains. Additional responsibilities include vendor management and inventory oversight.

Qualifications

• Experience in a purchasing and shipping/receiving environment preferred.
• Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
• Familiarity with commercial fishing vendors in Seattle is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Attention to detail and team-oriented problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and shipment of parts for CAPS operations.
• Coordinate with other departments for purchasing and supply needs.
• Handle shipping logistics to Dutch Harbor, AK and Seattle, WA.
• Oversee warehouse operations including inventory management.
• Develop relationships with key suppliers.
