Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I (Sheetmetal/Structures UH-60, AH-64, CH-47) to repair and replace aircraft structural components per manuals and directives. You will fabricate, shape metal, apply coatings, and assist with inspections and final assembly checks.

The role requires three years of aviation maintenance experience, two years on rotary-wing aircraft, and the ability to obtain a security clearance. A valid US driver’s license and own tools are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• U.S. military technical school or specialized training preferred.
• Must have three years aviation maintenance experience and two years rotary wing experience within the last six years.
• Must provide own tools with toolbox requirements supplied after selection.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, fabricates, modifies and installs structural parts and skins per drawings and manuals.
• Assists technicians and mechanics; removes and replaces defective parts.
• Maintains supplies, performs preventive maintenance and final checks on assemblies.
• Adheres to safety programs and company policies; prepares maintenance records.
