Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I (Sheetmetal/Structures UH-60, AH-64, CH-47) in Hawaii. You will repair and replace structural components, fabricate parts, and perform inspections on rotary-wing aircraft.

The role requires a high school diploma; 3 years aviation maintenance experience, 2 years rotary wing, and willingness to travel. Passport eligibility and security requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; military technical training preferred.
• A&P license optional but beneficial.
• Three years aviation maintenance experience, two years rotary wing, two years on the assigned MDS.
• Passport eligibility and international travel may be required for OCONUS work sites.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace structural components including skin, ribs, and bulkheads.
• Fabricate, modify, and install structural parts and brackets.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and tech manuals to perform tasks.
• Perform inspections, maintenance records, and use common/precision tools.
