Responsibilities

• Read job tickets and specs before starting.
• Set up and maintain the press per procedures.
• Program color standards into CPC and adjust as needed.
• Achieve color OK against proofs under supervision.
• Interpret color targets to maintain print quality.
• Balance ink and water systems for consistency.
• Maintain color during run with OK sheets.
• Perform make-readies, folder ops, and maintenance.
• Review orders for quantities and stock specs.
• Pull proofs to verify ink, density, and alignment.
• Assist operator with web tension and speed.
• Keep press area clean and safe, follow rules.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Maintain list of maintenance issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
