Job summary

Mittera Creative + Tech in Reno, NV seeks a Web Second Press Operator to join our team. You will assist with setup and operation of web presses, ensure jobs meet customer specifications, and help reduce waste and downtime while maintaining quality.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to procedures; experience with color controls and CPC color adjustments is valued, and we offer competitive pay and robust benefits to support our employees.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience as a multicolor web press operator.
Ability to lead and foster growth on the team.
Knowledgeable of press set-up and maintenance procedures.
Effective communications skills with all levels within the organization.
Has basic computer skills.
Self-motivated, reliable, and quality, safety oriented.
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain web presses and all auxiliary equipment.
Interprets color bars, star targets, side guide marks and slur indicators to control print quality.
Responsible for promoting, enforcing and sustaining safety and look for ways to improve the operation.
Programs correct color standards into CPC to make needed color adjustments.
Achieves color OK (match/approval) to proofs.
Facilitate teamwork on crews and between shifts.
Ensures good housekeeping practices are followed.
Performs routine and preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
