Leer Inc. is seeking a Sheet Metal Operator to join our Jefferson Street plant in New Lisbon. The role focuses on proficient operation of sheet metal equipment, blueprint interpretation, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will be expected to perform machine setups, assist with equipment maintenance, and train peers while maintaining accurate measurement and quality checks. A reliable, collaborative team member with a good attitude will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Must understand & follow ALL safe operating procedures & requirements.
• Ability to use small hand tools in a safe manner.
• Ability to read measurement devices accurately.
• Must take ownership and be champion of the primary machine.
• Must be reliable, cooperative, self-motivated and self-disciplined.

Responsibilities

• Ability to lift 50-75lbs., plus on a continual basis.
• Ability to push and pull carts.
• Ability to use repetitive motions.
• Ability to reach overhead and/or above shoulder height frequently.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to be on time and at work on a daily basis.
