Leer Inc. is seeking a skilled sheet metal operator to become proficient on all equipment in the sheet metal department and to perform setups according to blueprints.
You will maintain strict quality checks, read prints accurately, and train others as needed while coordinating with supervision. Ideal candidates are reliable, self‑motivated team players with basic math skills, able to lift heavy parts, and willing to cross-train across machines.
This position reports to the Production Lead.

This role will work in the Sheet Metal dept at theJefferson Street plant. Position must have the ability to read blueprints and cut lists and make all of the setups on the machine. Conscious of quality at all times, always checking for accuracy of cut size or bend. Must be able to competently run most of the machines in the department.
