Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Machine Operator for a 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM shift in Sumter, SC. You will fabricate parts from steel, copper, or aluminum according to blueprints, while ensuring safety, quality and on-time production. The role includes 5S adherence and potential cross-training within a collaborative team.

Eligible for a variable incentive program; salary guideline is 18.50 per hour, based on experience and market conditions. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience as a machine operator or graduate of a machine certificate program.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring devices.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and maintain machines per blueprints.
• Inspect finished parts and measure with tape measure or calipers.
• Maintain safety, quality, and productivity goals.
