Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Fabrication Technician II (3rd Shift) at our Hodges, SC facility. Hours are 11:30pm–7:30am, Monday–Friday, with a $20.00 hourly rate plus $1 shift premium and $1 shift differential, and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

The role involves preparing aluminum and copper busbars by operating manual presses, hand grinders, and taping bars, with potential to gather material for work centers. Strong adherence to safety and quality standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; US work authorization.
• Live within 50 miles of the Hodges Lake Greenwood SC work site.
• Recent fabrication experience within the last year.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the environment, health, and safety guidelines.
• Sustainment of 5S+ in area.
• Receive work assignments from supervisor or production control system.
• Input information into data collection system as required.
• Work from manufacturing information, sketches, drawings, oral and written instructions.
• Set and operate heavy machinery such as weidamatics, optishear, band saws, coil machine and drill presses.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery (oil, clamp adjustments, finger replacement).
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and push/pull up to 100 lbs; use material handling equipment as needed.
