Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Machine Operator I for the 3rd shift at our Troy, IL facility. Core hours are Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Overtime may be required.

The position offers benefits and a wage progression starting at $24.87 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential, with potential to reach $26.61 after 10 months. Salary guidelines reflect market and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• No visa sponsorship offered for this position.
• Within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL required.
• Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from the geographical limitation.

Responsibilities

• Operate sheet metal fabrication machines and read shop orders and engineering drawings.
• Perform quality checks and use calibration equipment such as calipers.
• Run brake press, hammer flanger, buffalo roller, hand scribing and hand sheering.
