Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience; journeyman or licensure eligible
• Able to read blueprints and prepare material lists
• Able to complete an 8-week look-ahead for the project
• Able to manage a crew of 1–10 installers
• Maintain safety standards and high team efficiency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and punctual
• Able to multi-task and demonstrate strong follow-up

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Sheet Metal Technicians to deliver quality and customer service
• Review projects with Superintendent/PM after equipment and subs are procured
• Perform on-site surveys and report findings
• Takeoffs for projects in a timely manner with the Superintendent
• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions (scheduling, material control, rentals)
• Provide daily job completion percentages
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety, and company policies; log incidents and drive corrective actions
• Submit weekly reports (safety/tool box, preconstruction, production, and project-specific reports)
• Coordinate with shop for production scheduling and deliveries
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and owners as needed
• Ensure projects meet Pueblo Mechanical standards and prepare for start-ups
