Modigent seeks a Foreman I - Sheet Metal to lead a commercial HVAC crew on service, retrofit, and installation projects nationwide. You will supervise on-site tasks, ensure quality and safety, and mentor team members.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in sheet metal/HVAC, a valid driver’s license, and familiarity with SMACNA/OSHA standards. This role emphasizes leadership, planning, and collaboration with project teams.

Competenze

4+ years in commercial sheet metal/HVAC installation, fabrication, and service/retrofit.
High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
Valid driver’s license with clean record; OSHA 10/30 encouraged; SMACNA certifications or journeyman sheet metal license preferred.

Mansioni

Lead and supervise a sheet metal crew on daily tasks: fabrication, installation, modification, sealing, hanging, and repair per blueprints and SMACNA standards.
Provide daily guidance, training, and direction to crew members for quality workmanship and professional development.
Coordinate with superintendent to address issues and plan takeoffs and material lists.
Review projects with superintendent/PM; conduct site surveys and report conditions/recommendations.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise on-site functions: crew scheduling, material control, tool/equipment rentals, and progress tracking.
