Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Southwest, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal General Foreman to lead multiple commercial plumbing projects in Chandler.

You will supervise sheet metal crews, interpret blueprints, ensure codes and safety standards, and coordinate with project managers to maintain workflow. Responsibilities include scheduling manpower and materials, inspecting work for quality, mentoring apprentices, reporting progress to the Plumbing Superintendent, and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or foreman capacity.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and plumbing diagrams.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Sheet Metal crews across multiple job sites.
• Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure proper installation of plumbing systems.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to maintain workflow.
• Schedule manpower, tools, and materials to meet project deadlines.
• Conduct regular job site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
• Mentor and train apprentices and journeyman plumbers.
• Report progress, delays, and field issues to the Plumbing Superintendent.
