Modigent is seeking a Foreman I - Sheet Metal to lead a commercial HVAC sheet metal crew on fabrication, installation, and retrofit projects nationwide. You will ensure quality workmanship, coaching the crew to follow blueprints, SMACNA standards, and safety procedures, while coordinating with a project superintendent to hit schedules and budgets.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, training, and mentoring, with opportunities for advancement across Modigent's operating companies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in commercial sheet metal/HVAC installation, fabrication, and retrofit.
• High school diploma or GED; trade/apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid driver's license; clean driving record preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 encouraged and company-supported.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a sheet metal crew on daily tasks per blueprints and SMACNA standards.
• Provide guidance, training, and direction to crew members for quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with superintendent and project team to meet schedule and budget.
• Conduct daily safety briefings, hazard assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Mentor crew on sheet metal techniques and safety practices.
