Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Retrofit Foreman I - Sheet Metal in El Cajon, CA to lead a field crew through HVAC retrofit, sheet metal installations, repairs, and upgrades with safety and quality at the forefront.

You'll coordinate with superintendents and project managers, read blueprints, manage on-site tasks, mentor teammates, and deliver energy-efficient solutions while upholding our people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field experience in commercial HVAC/sheet metal.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school preferred.
• Universal EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Certification and OSHA 30 certification required.
• Valid driver''s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on rooftops/industrial sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise sheet metal crew on retrofit tasks.
• Coordinate scheduling with stakeholders and provide daily updates.
• Read blueprints and ensure precise ductwork fabrication and installation.
• Ensure safety compliance and PPE usage on site.
• Mentor crew and collaborate with project managers to meet goals.
