Job summary

Epsilon Industries Inc is seeking a Carpenter to fabricate, assemble, fit, and install steel components for modular mechanical and electrical systems. The role is fully on-site, with a 90-day training period in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and a $500 per week per diem during training.

Post-training, the position remains on-site at the Oxford, Alabama facility, requiring reading drawings, layouts, and precise measurements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least three years of experience in carpentry, steel fabrication, metal framing, structural steel, or a related skilled trade preferred.
• Equivalent experience demonstrating strong fabrication and mechanical skills may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble steel and metal components for modular mechanical and electrical systems.
• Measure, lay out, cut, drill, grind, fit, square, level, and assemble components accurately.
• Construct frames, supports, platforms, racks, enclosures, and other modular assemblies.
• Perform tack welding when properly trained, qualified, and authorized.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, fabrication drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and material requirements.
• Inspect completed work and correct deficiencies within authority.
• Follow established fabrication sequences and production requirements.
