Qualifications

• Must be a Pipe Fitter/Steamfitter Journeyman by trade.
• Minimum of 1–3 years industrial experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate an industrial powered forklift.
• Proficient reading and interpreting work orders and drawings.
• Able to work independently or as a team player.
• Strong time management, organized and detail oriented.
• Demonstrate a friendly, respectful attitude toward coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems and related equipment.
• Study blueprints and determine tools and sequence of tasks.
• Measure, cut, join, and install pipes, valves and fittings.
• Join pipe sections and secure in position; test systems for leaks.
• Cross-train and perform other tasks as needed.
