Job summary

Epsilon Industries in Alabama is seeking a Structural Welder/Fitter to lay out, fit, weld, and assemble steel frames and modules per drawings and specs. This on-site role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork across fabrication teams.

The position starts with a 90‑day on-site training at the Tuscaloosa facility with a $500 per week per diem; upon completion, duties transfer to the Oxford site for ongoing on-site work.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience in structural fitting and/or welding.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings.
• Proficiency in welding processes MIG, FCAW, or Stick.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic layout work.
• Experience in fabrication or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and BOMs.
• Lay out structural components including beams, columns, baseplates, and supports.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials to required dimensions.
• Perform fit-up of structural assemblies ensuring proper alignment and tolerances.
• Perform welding using MIG, FCAW, or Stick; ensure weld quality and compliance.
