Job summary

Epsilon Industries Inc. is seeking an Industrial Painter to perform surface preparation, coating application, and finishing of structural steel and modular assemblies at our Alabama OSC facility.

A 90‑day on-site training period in Tuscaloosa includes a $500 per week per diem during training. Upon training completion, the role remains fully on‑site at our Oxford, Alabama facility, working with fabrication, assembly, and logistics teams to meet project deadlines while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

• Industrial painting experience in metal fabrication, modular construction, or heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of epoxy, urethane, and intumescent coatings.
• Experience with spray equipment and paint booth operations.
• Ability to read drawings and manufacturer specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, blasting, or other methods.
• Mask and protect areas not requiring paint; apply primers and finishes.
• Inspect surfaces for defects and verify readiness for coating.
• Operate spray systems (airless, conventional, plural component) and monitor film thickness.
• Read paint specifications and work orders to ensure correct coatings.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and production teams to meet schedules.
