Job summary

4over is seeking a skilled Press Operator to set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the Komori sheet-fed press in our climate-controlled plants. You will supervise and mentor junior colleagues and ensure high-quality, on-time production.

The role requires 3–5 years of Komori press experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Evening 2nd shift, with training at varied times, offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three (3) – five (5) years of experience as a Komori sheet‑fed press operator
• Proven mechanical aptitude and experience performing sheet‑fed press maintenance and minor repairs

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and operate the sheet‑fed press to produce high‑quality print products
• Access the batching system to view press schedule and identify priority jobs to be completed
• Examine job orders to determine the quantity to be printed, stock specifications, color(s) and special printing instructions
• Lead and direct assistant operator, including on‑the‑job training and mentoring junior colleagues
• Ensure press crew prepares the press machine for the next job once the current job is complete
• Monitor press cycle and performance, ensuring optimum press performance and job quantity reporting, with defect and quality checks
• Maintain and troubleshoot the machine, making basic repairs as needed according to schedule
• Actively remove waste items for recycling
• Complete and process all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in the work area(s)
• Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Assist in cultivating an interdependent safety culture by reporting workplace hazards, injuries, illnesses, or near misses to management immediately
• Attend all department/company meetings
• Wear all assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
• Other duties as assigned
