Job summary

4over is seeking a skilled Press Operator for the 3rd shift at the Arlington TX plant to run a Komori sheet-fed press. You will set up, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure high-quality, high-volume production, while supervising and mentoring an assistant operator.

The role requires 3–5 years of Komori Sheet Fed Press experience, strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read job orders, monitor press cycles, and perform basic repairs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Komori Sheet Fed Press Operator.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience performing Sheet Fed Press maintenance and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and operate the sheet feed press to produce high quality print products.
• Access the Batching System to view press schedule and identify priority jobs to be completed.
• Lead and direct assistant operator, including on the job training and mentor junior colleagues.
• Ensure Press Crew prepares Press Machine for the next job once current job is complete.
• Monitor Press Cycle and performance, ensuring optimum press performance and job quantity reporting along, with defect and quality checks.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machine making basic repairs as needed according to schedule.
• Actively remove waste items for recycling.
• Complete and process all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s).
• Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
