Job summary

4over is seeking a Press Operator to set up and run a Komori sheet-fed press, ensuring high-quality, high-volume production. You will supervise an assistant operator, train junior teammates, and keep production on schedule while following safety protocols.

The role requires 3–5 years of press experience, mechanical aptitude, and a focus on efficiency, quality, and waste reduction in a climate-controlled plant environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Komori Sheet Fed Press Operator.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience performing press maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and operate the sheet feed press to produce high quality print products.
• Access the batching system to view press schedule and identify priority jobs.
• Examine job orders to determine quantity, stock specifications, color(s) and special printing instructions.
• Lead and direct assistant operator, including on-the-job training and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Ensure press crew prepares press machine for the next job after completion.
• Monitor press cycle and performance, report quantities and perform basic quality checks.
• Maintain and troubleshoot machine with basic repairs per schedule.
• Attend department/company meetings and adhere to safety policies.
