SC Johnson is recruiting an Associate Manager, Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) for its Racine, WI site. You will plan, design, implement, and oversee safety programs, lead continuous improvement, analyze data, manage incidents, and drive risk assessments to maintain a safe, compliant workplace.

You will manage direct reports and contractors, partner with operations and maintenance teams, and promote safety ownership across the site while aligning with corporate safety objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of safety, health and environmental experience in manufacturing with leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated project management experience to prioritize and complete multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state and local environmental regulations.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a visible safety leader on the floor and engage with employees, supervisors and managers.
• Lead injury reduction through hazard identification, risk mitigation and corrective actions.
• Coach leaders and employees to foster safety ownership at all levels.
• Conduct floor walks, safety observations and field engagements to identify risks.
• Oversee incident investigations, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Use data to identify trends and drive improvements in safety performance.
• Engage in regulatory compliance programs supporting operational excellence.
• Develop and coach SHE professionals and set expectations for field engagement.
• Partner with site leaders to deploy leader standard work for safety targets.
