Job summary

Vitalant seeks a Shared Technical Services Specialist to support the safe processing of manufacturing documentation. This in-office, full-time role reviews donor eligibility records, packing records and quality control docs for completeness and compliance, ensuring accurate records for regulatory processes and blood product safety.

You will collaborate with internal teams, follow SOPs, and maintain confidentiality while helping achieve production goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of healthcare-related experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Blood collection experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills with accurate data entry.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to interpret and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review manufacturing documents for completeness, accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure work is performed per SOPs and regulatory requirements; escalate concerns as needed.
• Investigate potential duplicate donor records and update system data.
• Communicate documentation discrepancies with internal teams and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate manufacturing records for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Support daily production goals by prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Work Location: Full-Time In Office

Salary Range: $15.92-$22.82

Salary is commensurate with a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.

Schedule: First Shift, 6am-2:30pm, includes every other weekend and holidays.

As a Shared Technical Services Specialist, you''ll get to

• Review manufacturing documents, including donor eligibility records, packing records, quality control documentation, informed consent forms, and production records for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure all assigned work is performed in accordance with internal SOPs, regulatory requirements, and quality standards while identifying and escalating compliance concerns as appropriate.
• Investigate potential duplicate donor records, verify information, and update system data to maintain accurate donor records.
• Communicate with internal blood center teams regarding documentation discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain accurate records and manage manufacturing documentation for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Support daily production goals by collaborating with team members and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive donor and manufacturing information.
• Assist with donor eligibility questions, policy interpretation, and documentation support as needed.
• Train and support team members on departmental processes and responsibilities.
• Maintain equipment and work areas to support efficient operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
