Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Sr Manager, (QC/RLTS) to provide technical oversight in the laboratory and coordinate testing of biological specimens. You will review quality assessment data and testing results, ensuring compliance with practices and contracts.

The role requires leadership, seven years of clinical lab experience, and three years in management. Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's is preferred. CLIA High Complexity testing and state licensure are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Must satisfy CLIA High Complexity Testing.
• State licensure as required by regulations.
• Seven years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Three years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• SBB certification preferred for accredited IRL.

Responsibilities

• Reference Lab Specialist in Blood Banking (SBB) certification required for an accredited IRL, preferred for a reference lab.

Experience

• Seven years clinical laboratory experience required.
• To include: a. Three years managerial or supervisory experience.
• b. Previous experience in molecular techniques, immunohematology techniques, automated testing and computerization preferred.
