Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support its mission of providing safe blood supply and related services. The role focuses on component production, labeling, data entry, and record review within the laboratory. Located in Rosemont, IL, you will work an evening schedule with weekend rotation to ensure continuous operations.

The position emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and collaboration with a dedicated team. Relevant training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• No Experience Required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
• Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
• Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
• Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
