Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ≥5 years in a financial operations/shared services role.
• Extensive knowledge of AP/AR, cash applications, reconciliations, payroll.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and SLAs.
• Experience with SOX and SEC reporting.
• Proficient in NetSuite and other financial systems.
• Proven leadership and team management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Job Details: Are you a seasoned finance professional seeking a challenging role in a growing industry? We are currently looking for a Shared Service Manager for our Finance Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading energy company and contribute to our success by ensuring the smooth running of our financial operations. You will play a crucial role in managing our shared services, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash applications, reconciliations, vendor master data, customer master data, and payroll.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Overseeing all shared service functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash applications, reconciliations, and payroll.
2. 2. Ensuring the accuracy of vendor master data and customer master data.
3. 3. Ensuring all financial operations are in compliance with internal controls and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
4. 4. Ensuring adherence to SOX regulations and other applicable financial regulations.
5. 5. Managing month-end closing processes and related reporting.
6. 6. Overseeing SEC reporting and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
7. 7. Utilizing NetSuite and other financial systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
8. 8. Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial operations align with overall company objectives.
9. 9. Identifying and implementing improvements to shared service processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

1. 1. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial operations role in a shared services environment.
3. 3. Extensive knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash applications, reconciliations, vendor master data, customer master data, and payroll.
4. 4. Strong understanding of internal controls and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
5. 5. Experience with SOX and SEC reporting.
6. 6. Proficiency in using NetSuite and other financial systems.
7. 7. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
8. 8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. 9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
10. 10. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
