Job summary

RealREPP is seeking an HR Shared Services Manager in Houston, Texas, to optimize the HR service delivery model. This role requires a blend of HR operations and technology, focusing on enhancing user-friendly support systems.

The ideal candidate will lead daily HR operations, design a centralized HR Help Center, and manage a team dedicated to improving employee satisfaction. A Bachelor's degree in HR and extensive experience in HR Shared Services is required.

RealREPP, a full-service recruiting firm, is currently teaming with a growing, stable, and nationally recognized building systems expert to assist them in hiring a HR Shared Services Manager to lead and optimize our HR service delivery model. This role blends HR operations, technology, and employee experience—focused on building scalable, user-friendly support systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead HR Shared Services: Oversee daily HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring efficient, high-quality service.
• Own Help Center Strategy: Design and enhance a centralized HR Help Center (knowledge base, case management, self-service).
• Drive Performance Metrics: Establish and manage SLAs/KPIs to improve service delivery and accountability.
• Improve Employee Experience: Use data and feedback to streamline processes and increase satisfaction.
• Lead a Team: Manage and develop HR service specialists, promoting a culture of responsiveness and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to align on processes and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (HR preferred) or relevant certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP)
• 7–10 years in HR Shared Services/Operations, including 5+ years in leadership
• Hands-on Workday experience (case management, knowledge management, self-service)
• Experience building or improving HR Help Centers/knowledge bases
• Strong understanding of HR lifecycle processes
• Data-driven with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to balance strategy with execution in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel (~15%)
