Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a compassionate Shared Living Provider in Warren County, OH to welcome an adult with developmental disabilities into your home. You will offer daily care, companionship, and a safe, inclusive environment.

You will provide a private bedroom, assist with daily living tasks, encourage independence, and coordinate medical appointments and activities while maintaining simple records for ViaQuest staff.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with insurance and good driving record.
• Home safety assessed; home or renter's insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and support to an adult with developmental disabilities.
• Offer a private bedroom and a safe, supportive home.
• Assist with cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation.
• Encourage independence through skill development and guidance.
• Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities.

What You’ll Do

• An adult with a developmental disability will live in your home with you. You will provide them with daily care and support.
• Provide a private bedroom and a safe, supportive home environment
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation
• Encourage independence through skill development and guidance
• Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities
• Keep simple daily records and communicate with ViaQuest staff

Compensation & Benefits

• Tax-free annual stipend: $40,000 – $60,000
• Paid time off
• Additional room & board income (average $630/month)
• Training, background checks, and certification
• 24/7 support from a dedicated ViaQuest Manager
• Tools and assistance for documentation, billing, and compliance
• Help coordinating respite
