Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a compassionate In-Home Shared Living Provider in Montgomery County, OH to welcome an adult with developmental disabilities into your home. You’ll provide daily care, a private bedroom, and a safe, inclusive environment, while supporting daily living tasks and independence.

You will coordinate medical appointments, document daily progress, and communicate with ViaQuest staff to ensure quality care and safety. A valid driver’s license and home insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience with adults who have developmental disabilities.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable insured vehicle and clean driving record.
• Background checks completed and cleared.
• Home safety assessment required; home insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and support for an adult with a developmental disability.
• Provide a private bedroom and a safe, supportive home environment.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation.
• Encourage independence through skill development and guidance.
• Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities.

What You’ll Do

• An adult with a developmental disability will live in your home with you. You will provide them with daily care and support.
• Provide a private bedroom and a safe, supportive home environment
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation
• Encourage independence through skill development and guidance
• Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities
• Keep simple daily records and communicate with ViaQuest staff

Compensation & Benefits

• Tax-free annual stipend: $40,000 – $60,000
• Paid time off
• Additional room & board income (average $630/month)

• 24/7 support from a dedicated ViaQuest Manager
