Job summary

ViaQuest, Inc. in Greene County, OH is seeking a compassionate in-home Shared Living Provider to welcome an adult with developmental disabilities into your home, offering daily support, companionship, and a safe, inclusive environment.

You will provide a private bedroom, daily living assistance, and help coordinate medical appointments and social activities, while maintaining simple records and open communication with ViaQuest staff.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a reliable insured vehicle and a good driving record.
• Clean background checks needed.
• Home safety requirements with a home assessment.
• Home or renter’s insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and support to an adult with developmental disabilities living in your home.
• Offer a private bedroom and a safe, supportive home environment.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation.
• Encourage independence through skill development and guidance.
• Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities.

Greene County, OH ViaQuest is seeking a compassionate Shared Living Provider to welcome an adult with developmental disabilities into your home, offering daily support, companionship, and a safe, inclusive environment.

What You'll Do

• An adult with a developmental disability will live in your home with you. You will provide them with daily care and support.
• Provide a private bedroom and a safe, supportive home environment
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation
• Encourage independence through skill development and guidance
• Schedule and attend medical appointments and social activities
• Keep simple daily records and communicate with ViaQuest staff

Compensation & Benefits

• Tax-free annual stipend: $40,000 - $60,000
• Paid time off
• Additional room & board income (average $630/month)
