Job summary

ViaQuest is seeking a compassionate Shared Living Provider to welcome an adult with developmental disabilities into your home, offering daily support, companionship, and a safe, inclusive environment.

You will provide daily care, a private bedroom, and a safe home while assisting with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation. Training, background checks, and ongoing ViaQuest support ensure success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable insured vehicle.
• Clear background checks are required.
• Home must meet safety requirements with a home assessment.
• Home or renter's insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and support for an adult with developmental disabilities in your home.
• Offer a private bedroom and a safe, supportive living environment.
• Assist with daily living tasks including cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation.
• Encourage independence through skill development and guidance.
• Schedule and accompany medical appointments and social activities.
• Maintain simple daily records and communicate with ViaQuest staff.
• Provide paid time off as part of the arrangement.
• Participate in training and background checks as required.
• Receive 24/7 support from a ViaQuest Manager.
• Use tools and assistance for documentation, billing, and compliance.
