Job summary
AECOM is seeking a responsive SH&E Manager to lead Safety, Health & Environment efforts for part of the East Region. The role supports design and consulting operations nationwide and requires 25–35% travel.
The position is hybrid, with opportunities to base in offices such as Arlington, VA, Fort Lauderdale, FL, or other East Region locations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 8+ years in SH&E, CSP/CIH certification, and demonstrated leadership to influence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in OH&S or related field with 8+ years in SH&E roles or equivalent experience.
- Professional CSP or CIH certification.
- Valid driver's license with clean record.
Responsibilities
- Provide visible and active safety support across the East Region.
- Review and improve safety programs at diverse sites (construction, remediation).
- Lead incident management and verify corrective actions.
- Review site safety plans, training, audits and safety programs.
- Recommend policy changes affecting regional operations and employees.
- Train and coach employees across all levels in safety practices.
