Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Safety, Health and Environmental Specialist to coordinate compliance, performance, and capability development across factory operations, with a 60% environmental focus and 40% safety/health. The role drives corporate standards, interprets regulations, and aligns SH&E management systems with Nestlé policies.

The position requires ISO 14001/45001 expertise, site support during inspections, and continuous improvement of SH&E programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance or SH&E in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Experience in manufacturing operations.
• Professional certification in environmental, safety, or industrial hygiene disciplines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as corporate contact and technical resource for safety, health and environmental compliance.
• Guide sites on SHE related policies, procedures, and compliance including regulatory reporting, permits, and compliance obligations.
• Advise sites during inspections and audits, including gap closure.
• Support safety investigations and corrective actions for incidents, spills, releases, and non-compliance.
• Drive implementation and improvement of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and SH&E systems across sites.
• Develop SH&E training and guidance to build compliance, systems, and audit readiness.
