Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Safety, Health and Environmental Specialist to coordinate compliance, performance, and capability across factory operations with a 60% environmental focus and 40% safety and health.

You will drive corporate standards, interpret regulations, and advance SH&E systems, fostering a culture of safety, health and sustainability embedded in business priorities across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance or SH&E in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Professional certification in environmental, safety, or industrial hygiene disciplines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as corporate contact for safety, health and environmental compliance.
• Guide sites on SHE policies, permits, reporting, inspections and audits.
• Support environmental risk assessment and mitigation across operations.
• Drive ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and continual improvement.
• Develop SH&E training and build site capability.
• Engage with regulators, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Track environmental KPIs and support ESG reporting.
