Job summary

Nestlé USA seeks a Safety, Health and Environmental specialist to lead compliance, performance and capability development across factory operations with a 60% environmental focus and 40% safety and health.

The role drives implementation of corporate standards, interprets regulations, standardizes SH&E systems, and provides guidance to sites to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and Nestlé policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of environmental compliance or SH&E experience in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Experience in manufacturing operations; professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, compliance and SHE policies across sites.
• Guide sites on regulatory reporting, permits and inspections.
• Support audits, gap closure, and corrective actions.
• Develop SH&E training and build site capability.
• Engage stakeholders and drive integration of SH&E requirements into processes.
• Track environmental KPIs and support ESG reporting.
