Job summary

Nestlé is seeking a Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) specialist to drive governance, compliance and continuous improvement across factory operations. The role focuses 60% on environmental aspects and 40% on safety and health, delivering expertise to ensure regulatory alignment with Nestlé policies and SH&E management systems.

The specialist advises sites, supports investigations, and coordinates audits, as well as builds capability and training to embed sustainability as a core business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance or SH&E in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Experience in manufacturing operations.
• Professional certification in environmental, safety, or industrial hygiene preferred.

Responsibilities

• Governance and compliance leadership for safety, health and environmental programs.
• Guide sites on policies, permits, inspections, and audits; support improvement.
• Integrate environmental risk with safety and health risk frameworks.
• Drive SH&E systems, audits, gap tracking, and readiness processes.
• Build SH&E training and site capability; promote stewardship and accountability.
• Engage with regulatory agencies, consultants and internal partners on compliance.
