Job summary

Invitation Homes is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to provide analytical and operational support for capital reinvestment programs across 16 markets. You will drive field execution, leverage AI-assisted tools to optimize asset NOI performance, and partner with corporate, field teams, and external investors.

The role requires expertise in residential single-family rental dynamics, asset lifecycle management, and data-driven disposition strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business, AI, economics or related field required.
1–3 years of experience in financial/data analysis, investment analysis, institutional real estate, or SFR/asset management preferred.
Prior experience in single-family rental or institutional residential real estate preferred.
Proficiency in Python, R or SQL for data querying and analysis.
Experience with data visualization in Tableau or Power BI.
Ability to translate complex data and financial analyses into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with operations and cross-functional teams to enable capital reinvestment programs across markets.
Track capital deployment and program performance at asset and market level; ensure projects meet budget and schedule.
Review and approve project proposals per established processes and authority levels.
Support development of market-level business plans, ROI analyses, and reinvestment strategies.
Develop dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI and other platforms.
Use AVMs and predictive analytics to forecast NOI, rent growth, and disposition timing decisions.
Provide financial guidance through analysis of NOI, occupancy, rent growth, and return on capital.
