Job summary

The Indiana University Foundation (IUF) seeks a Senior Manager, Salesforce Marketing Cloud to lead a team of SFMC professionals and shape digital engagement across IU donors and alumni. The role focuses on strategy, lifecycle emails, journeys, data-driven personalization, and scalable processes.

Based in Bloomington, IN, this hybrid position requires deep SFMC expertise, strong leadership, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to advance IU’s fundraising and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
• Experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder and AMPscript.
• Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS for responsive emails.
• Experience with SQL for data extraction and segmentation.
• Experience with API integrations (SFMC with CRM platforms).
• Proven leadership of a technical marketing or marketing operations team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of SFMC professionals and drive strategy and implementation.
• Partner with Annual Giving, Alumni Engagement, Marketing, IT and data teams to improve processes.
• Translate technical possibilities into scalable organizational solutions.
• Build and mentor a high-performing, data-driven marketing operations function.
• Balance technical, marketing strategy and leadership to achieve fundraising goals.
